  • 8 oz Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (diced)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Add diced bell peppers and sauté until tender.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage mixture over the dough, leaving a one-inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly, sealing the edges. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Cut small vent holes on top, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
