  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole or alternative)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Spoon or pipe the batter into each donut cavity halfway full.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and springy to touch.
  7. Allow cooling for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack; glaze or roll in cinnamon sugar if desired.
