Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 4 oz provolone cheese
  • 4 fresh hoagie rolls
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until softened and caramelized, about 5 minutes.
  2. In another skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over high heat. Add the ribeye slices and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned but still tender.
  3. Layer the provolone cheese on top of the cooked beef, cover with a lid, and let it melt for about 1 minute.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches by filling each hoagie roll with the cheesy steak mixture and topping with sautéed onions and peppers.
  5. Serve immediately with crispy fries or a fresh salad.
