  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt

  1. Peel and slice the onions into thick rings (about half an inch).
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with seasoning salt, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each onion ring in flour, dip in egg, then roll in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to about 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the onion rings in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
