  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, browning it until fully cooked; drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked egg noodles with the beef mixture and fold in half of the shredded cheese.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
