  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup uncooked penne pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Layer uncooked penne pasta evenly at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the pasta, ensuring it's well-coated.
  4. Place frozen meatballs evenly on top of the sauce-covered pasta.
  5. Pour water over the entire dish until liquid pools slightly at the edges, then sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly.
  6. Generously top with shredded mozzarella and finish with grated Parmesan.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
