Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet; cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Remove from skillet.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Stir well.
  5. Add Italian seasoning and additional salt and pepper as needed; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and simmer for another 3-4 minutes before serving.
