- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Add half to the dough and fold gently to create swirls.
- Transfer dough to a greased loaf pan and sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
