Cinnamon swirl bread is a delightful treat that fills your home with warmth and the sweet aroma of freshly baked goodness.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Add half to the dough and fold gently to create swirls.
  5. Transfer dough to a greased loaf pan and sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
