  • 1 box yellow or vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup icing sugar (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool slightly before drizzling icing sugar mixed with water over the top.
