  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until just combined.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until no streaks remain; then fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft. Cool on racks before serving.
