  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz melting chocolate or candy melts
  • 12 lollipop sticks
  • colorful sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions by mixing it with eggs and water until smooth.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs and mix in frosting until dough-like.
  5. Roll mixture into balls (about 1 inch) and chill for 30 minutes on parchment paper.
  6. Melt the coating chocolate and dip one end of each lollipop stick before inserting it into each ball.
  7. Dip each pop into melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles if desired. Let them set at room temperature.
