  • 8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Chop garlic and basil while boiling water in a large pot.
  2. Add pasta to boiling salted water; cook until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook sliced sausages until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic and halved tomatoes; cook until tomatoes soften (about 3 minutes).
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing with reserved pasta water until creamy.
  6. Remove from heat, fold in basil, and top with Parmesan cheese before serving.
