  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 medium tomato (sliced)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo – to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper gently; shape into four patties about ¾ inch thick.
