  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil water in a large pot; add salt and cook spaghetti until al dente (about 8 to 10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and sauté ground meat until browned (about 6 to 8 minutes).
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, half of the ricotta mix, and half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, topping with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
