  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and oil until frothy.

  5. Gently fold in diced apples and walnuts if using.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
