Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix applesauce, eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in chopped apples and walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and serve.
