  • 9 lasagna noodles (traditional or no-boil)
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef or sausage in olive oil.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Layer the ingredients: start with meat sauce, then add lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta and mozzarella until everything is used.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of water around the edges of the pot; secure the lid.
  5. Cook on manual pressure for 20 minutes; allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before manually releasing any remaining steam.
