Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sushi-grade Ahi tuna, diced
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by dicing the tuna and avocado and finely chopping the green onions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Ahi tuna, avocado, green onions, soy sauce, lime juice, Sriracha, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid mashing the avocado.
  3. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Plate using a ring mold for an elegant presentation or serve in bowls.
  5. Garnish with additional green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cucumber slices.
