  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying (approximately 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and marinate in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge each piece in the seasoned flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to around 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the chicken pieces in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
