  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 hard taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup chopped fresh vegetables (tomatoes, onions, bell peppers)
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ cup sour cream (for topping)
  • ½ cup salsa (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and water as per package instructions.
  3. Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon seasoned meat into each shell generously. Add black beans, chopped vegetables, and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
